SU-30MKI
This fighter aircraft is Twin seater with twin engine multi-role fighter plane of Russian origin, with in-built One X 30mm GSH gun along with 8000 kg external weaponry. It is competent to carry a variety of medium-range guided air to air missiles with active or semi-active radar or Infra-red homing close range missiles. It has a maximum speed of 2500 km/hr.
Mirage 2000
Mirage-2000 is single seater air defense and multi-role fighter plane of French origin mechanized by a single engine with maximum speed of 2495 km/hr. It is built with two 30 mm integral cannons and two matra super 530D medium-range and two R-550 magic II close combat missiles on external stations.
MiG-29
MiG-29 is also a Twin engine but a single seater air supremacy fighter aircraft of Russian origin capable which can have maximum speed of 2445 km/hour. It has a combat ceiling of 17 km. It has a 30 mm cannon in-built along with four R-60 close combat and two R-27 R medium range radar guided missiles.
MiG-27
MiG-27 is a single engine with single seater tactical strike fighter aircraft of Russian origin having a maximum speed of 1700 km/hr. It has 23 mm six-barrel rotary integral cannon and possesses the ability to carry 4000 kg of other weaponry externally.
MiG-21 BISON
MiG-21 BISON is a single engine with single seater multi-role fighter plane also having functionality to ground attack of Russian origin which is the back-bone of the Indian Air Force. It has a maximum speed of 2230 km/hr. With in-built of one 23mm twin barrel cannon with four R-60 close combat missiles.
Jaguar
Jaguar is twin-engine with single seater deep penetration strike aircraft of Anglo-French origin which has a maximum speed of 1350 km /hr. It possesses two 30mm guns and ability to carry two R-350 Magic CCMs along with 4750 kg of external for storing bombs/fuel.
